WEATHER: Motorist Rhian Hughes has just called in. She's stuck on the A55 at Talybont: "It was like driving through a river. The water was so deep it covered the wheels of the car."
WEATHER: Residents in Beaumaris concerned as flood waters get near houses. Council staff are on their way.
FLOODING: Flooding reported on main road through Mochdre. Council pumping water.
WEATHER: Stranded motorist Rhian Hughes said there were scores of vehicles stranded between junction 11-12.

WEATHER:Decks being cleared, pardon the pun, as Daily Post prepares a spread on the flash floods.
WEATHER: Hundreds,not scores of motorists stranded on A55 between junction 11 and 12.
WEATHER: Rhian Hughes spoke to fireman on the scene. She said: "There are two cars which have broken down at the front of the queue of traffic. Emergency services trying to tow them away but even if thye are successful there is no guarantee that the road will be passable."
WEATHER: Adam Williams from Llanfairfechan got stuck on A55 on the way to Bangor. He said: "The rain is absolutely horrendous. There is one car stuck in the dip between the Talybont turn off and the 'One stop' turn off at Bangor. The water is so deep it has almost reache the roof."

WEATHER: From North Wales Police: "The A55 dual carriageway between Bangor and Tal y Bont (Junction 12 and 11) has been closed in both direction as a result of flooding. Due to the heavy rain and winds North Wales Police are warning the public not to travel unless absolutely necessary and to monitor local radio stations and the Traffic Wales website for updates.
The roads in the surrounding area have also been effected and Police are warning anyone intending to travel to check first with Traffic Wales."

WEATHER: Afternoon everyone. Just been out and about in Llandudno and Deganwy. Queens Road has lots of surface water. Usual pool by Robertsons when it rains heavily. Drivers sending up plumes of water in Glan y Marl Rd. Flooded drains perhaps.
WINDOWS: Another twist in the controversial uPVC windows story in Llandudno will be in tomorrow's Daily Post.
RAIL SERVICES: Arriva Trains Wales say: Owing to flooding between Bangor Gwynedd and Llandudno Junction all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.
WEATHER: A4085 closed in both directions between the Lon Arfon junction in Caernarfon and the A498 Stryd Smith junction in Beddgelert, because of flooding.
WEATHER: Our reporter Elgan Hearn stuck in the middle of the A55 with hundreds of others. Bad news. It's still chucking it down. Good news. Fire service are trying to pump out some of the standing water between Talybont and Abergwyngregyn.
WEATHER We have just spoken to someone stuck at Abergwyngregyn who says police have warned them they may not be getting back to Llandudno tonight.
WEATHER: North Wales Police: A55 both directions between j11&12 shut and likely to stay so for a while yet. More detailed update from the Force later. As soon as we get it we'll stick it on here. Their advice don't even think about trying to head home if you use that stretch of the road. "If you are warm and dry stay where you are."
