National Eisteddfod chief executive Elfed Roberts has said he is "pleased" to announce the 2012 festival held in the Vale of Glamorgan recorded a surplus of £50,000. He also described the fact that funds for next year's eisteddfod in Denbighshire have already reached £231,000 as "great news".
